The Run Amok Crew
Gary Anderson is a self-described curmudgeon living in central New Jersey, where he started Run Amok Book 8 years ago. He is guilty of many malapropisms, spoonerisms, and mixed metaphors, which is why he is no longer allowed to line edit manuscripts.
Vern Smith is the author of two novels and a collection of short stories. His third novel, Scratching the Flint, will be published in 2023. Smith joins Run Amok Crime as an Editor-at-Large, after curating the imprint's debut book, Jacked, a crime fiction anthology.
Krysta Winsheimer is an editor living in central Virginia. Her previous work involved dead bodies and terrorists, which aptly prepared her for working with the guys at Run Amok. She enjoys sitting in her garden while reading stories that pair well with an existential crisis.
